Overview
Predefined kits let you bundle several asset models into one named kit (for example, a new-hire laptop package). You define the kit name, add models with quantities, optionally pre-assign specific serial numbers, then check out the whole kit to a staff member or project in one action.

Step-by-step: Create a kit
- Go to Fixed Equipment → Predefined kits.
- Click Add.
- Enter the Kit name and submit.
- Open View on the new row.
- Add each Model and Quantity required in the kit.
- (Optional) Click Assign asset to map specific serialised assets to each model slot.
Expected result: A kit ready for checkout when sufficient stock exists for each model.
Step-by-step: Check out a kit
- On the Predefined kits list, click Check out on the kit row.
- Choose Check out to (staff or project), dates, and notes.
- Optionally pick a pre-assigned kit instance if you created one.
- Submit.
Expected result: All included assets are checked out together; assignment rows may be consumed.
Common issues
